Our professional advice your to check the cup size and under the band, which should be firm but comfortable. A good guide: Fit two 
fingers under the band when you’re trying it on. Press the wires to your rib cage —you shouldn’t be able to feel your breasts at this point. Also check the wire positions during the fitting as a poor fit can cause health issues like tingling fingers or tender breasts.
Question:
This is common if you over-tighten the strap to try and increase the support from the cup. Some women experience heavy indents on their shoulders and even suffer from headaches because of ill-fitting straps.
Suggestion:
Over-tightening the strap will lead to a loss of support at the front of the bra. Your bra should fit correctly through the under the band and cup volume—the straps just hold up the cup.
